With pointless babbling!

So yeah, it's been awhile since I did a journal/art, and I am contractually obligated to put something new on this page. This means I will now ramble about nothing of importance to the intarwebz, so you can all snicker at my strangeness.

As far as my art goes, I came to a sad conclusion recently. The reason why all of my EPic Projects o' Doom fail is because I think waaaaay to big. For about a year and a half I was planning out a manga/anime series, and finally gave up as I was crushed under the weight of my own mammoth ideas. This is why I've been doing nothing artistic lately...I need to unfocus and do some little piddly crap with no greater purpose in mind.

In the case of gaming...Haven't been doing a whole helluva lot of that, either. I still do City of Villians (and some Heroes) on-and-off, occasionally pick up a console and screw around with that, but nothing's really holding my attention. My flagship CoV character, Capt. Stormrider, is nearing max level, and the uphill battle to make progress is admittably making the game feel less fun. I recently started a Defender named Ectofreak, and have been dedicating him to 8-man teams, which is suprisingly enjoyable. Other than that...SimCity .

So what have I been doing? Sleeping, working, chatting, and watching Soul Eater. Soul Eater is chock full o' stylish characters and slick animation, providing a bit of artistic stimulation, so I'm hoping to get some new ideas flowing from that. Death the Kid = Total Pwnage. Thinking of doing some fanart of him.
